Director for Curriculum Development Dr. Evelyn T. Bagood went benchmarking at WVSU, Ilo-ilo City with the Vice President for Administration and Finance Dr. Florife O. Urbiztondo to gather significant information in the university’s proposal to offer Doctor of Medicine. West Visayas State University gave all the necessary information and toured the two bench markers to their infrastructures in the College of Medicine.

After the benchmarking on Doctor of Medicine at WVSU, the Curriculum Director reported and proposed the project work plan of offering Doctor of Medicine to the Board of Regents in Manila BOR meeting July 10, 2017. The Board of Regents signalled a nod on the presented proposal.
