𝐍𝐄𝐌𝐒𝐔 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭





In a visionary move towards advancing the strategic development, the NEMSU initiated the consultative dialogue with the stakeholders for the strategic development on March 22, 2024 at NEMSU Conference Room. The dialogue, aimed at soliciting different perspectives, provides an avenue in NEMSU’s commitment to academic excellence and innovations.

The consultative dialogue brought together key officials, representatives from faculty, students, staff, industry, and government agencies partners. The diverse composition of participants ensured a comprehensive exchange of ideas and insights vital for shaping the strategic direction of NEMSU.

Dr. Abundio C. Miralles, VPAF, highlighted in his opening remarks the importance of stakeholder engagement in driving meaningful change and innovation within the institution. He recognized that the stakeholders are invaluable partners in our journey towards excellence.

Meanwhile, Atty. Michiko Donaire-Maglinte, Legal Officer and OIC of the NEMSU President, extends her gratitude to the presence of the different stakeholders in helping NEMSU materialize its vision in becoming a premier research university. Furthermore, Dr. Rolly G. Salvaleon, the VPRE, provided framework in the presentation and open forum of the consultative dialogue. He emphasized the vital roles of the stakeholders in achieving the objectives of the activity.

Throughout the dialogue sessions, stakeholders generously provided inputs and suggestions spanning curriculum enrichment, research imperatives, faculty-student support services, and proactive community engagement initiatives. The stakeholders praised NEMSU’s milestone over the years and reaffirmed their commitment to support the university in its quest to excellent.

Looking forward the horizon, Dr. Maria Lady Sol A. Suazo, the VPAA, remains resolutely committed to leveraging the insights gleaned from the consultative dialogue to inform its strategic roadmap. Dr. Suazo reiterated the institution unwavering dedication to participatory decision-making.

NEMSU's consultative discussion is a proactive step in its goal of building an active, innovative, and excellence-oriented culture within the university. With the utilization of the combined expertise and experience of its stakeholders, NEMSU is in a strong position to steer a clear and active path toward achieving its targets and leaving its mark on the area of education management.
