The North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) held a two-day Gender and Development, Leadership Development Training, followed by a Management Committee Meeting, at Os Landing Resort, on October 10-11, 2024. The event aimed to strengthen leadership capabilities and enhance management strategies within the university.

The first day, October 10, focused on Gender and Development (GAD) and Leadership Training, facilitated by Dr. Harold Pareja. The training session provided valuable insights into gender sensitivity, inclusion, and leadership approaches that align with NEMSU's commitment to gender equity. Dr. Pareja emphasized the importance of creating an inclusive academic environment and highlighted strategies for empowering both men and women in leadership roles.

Day two, October 11, was dedicated to the Management Committee Meeting. Presided over by NEMSU President, Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon, the meeting gathered key officials and unit heads from various campuses to review ongoing university initiatives, discuss operational strategies, and plan for the upcoming academic term. The session provided an opportunity in presenting the different proposals to further enhance service delivery for students and faculty alike.
