Cagwait, Surigao del Sur - August 5, 2024, North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) through Lianga Campus has reached a significant milestone in its internationalization journey with the signing of a tripartite Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Mindanao State University Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) and Ghent University.

In his speech, NEMSU President Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon expressed his enthusiasm about this historic partnership, highlighting the shared vision of ALPAS—academic leverage for progressive and aboveboard service. This collaboration aims to foster innovative research and contribute meaningfully to sustainable development.

Dr. Loayon emphasized that the MOA represents hope and progress, symbolizing the collective efforts of three distinguished universities coming together to push the boundaries of knowledge and make a difference in their communities. He noted that the synergy between NEMSU, MSU-IIT, and Ghent University promises to bring groundbreaking research, meaningful exchanges, and a deeper understanding of global challenges and opportunities.
