SDSSU Main Campus- In response to the call for change SDSSU Faculty, Staff and Student Leaders merged in the annual celebration of women’s month on March 31, 2017 to inspire and empower women to achieve gender equality in the academic sector. This year’s team is “We Make Change Work for Women”. Following the directive from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), SDSSU GAD team highlighted interactive physical games and exercises that aim to promote healthy and interpersonal skills. The call for change continues to reverberate this year as SDSSU endeavors to ensure that women have equal rights with men in the academe by institutionalizing gender sensitive policies and programs. The said activity became a stress reliever for the participants as they temporarily isolated themselves from the usual chores and united in a boodle figh t. Mabuhay GIRLS!
