Shacene Convention Hall Tandag City, Six (6) campuses of Surigao Del Sur State University steered 1^st Quarter Academic and Administrative Councils (ACO-ADCO) Meeting on March 3, 2017. Faculty members of academic rank of Assistant Professor and up were in high spirit with their Sundays Best as they discussed academic and administrative matters for board approval. Among the important topics discussed were: the tentative list of graduating students, graduation fee, and proposed review classes for engineering, incentive for top notchers, faculty scholarship, NBC 461, MOAs, and other matters.

The University President, Dr Baceledes R Estal, conveyed his President’s time with inspiration and a call for unity and compassion amid the challenges of the time. Dr Estal echoed that leadership is not only for the President but it also means the leadership of each member of the University work force. The ACO-ADCO was also a venue for a vigorous exercise of democracy as deliberations became more objective and direct.
