September 19, 2017 is the Araw ng Surigao del Sur it is an annual celebration of the  province where each municipality participated in various activities.

The College of Arts and Sciences Faculty and Students  represented the Surigao del Sur State University during the opening parade.

The agro-business fair highlighted the celebration  as each municipality showcase and design their booths with peculiar agri-products from their municipality. The attendance of Surigao del Sur State to this event strengthens the social responsibility to our unique ancestry and love for the province of Surigao del Sur.
