The SDSSU Cantilan Campus Literary Competition was bashed and currently held on September 14, 2017 at SDSSU Audio Visual Center at 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. With the theme: PASUC at 50: At the forefront of Global Dynamics of Public Higher Education.

The English Society Officers together with their adviser led the said event. The activity commenced with an invocation and the singing of National Anthe. Followed by the welcome address by Ms. Geraldine Naga, MAELT, the English Society Adviser.

Thereafter is the reading of mechanics and criteria for the different types of competition followed namely: Story Telling, Short and Sweet Plays, Radio Drama, Essay Writing and the Extemporaneous Speech next is the introducing of the board of judges. After the thorough contest, Mr.Junry Fortugaliza, the English Society President delivered his closing remarks. Right after is the proclamation of winners.
