SDSSU-Cantilan Garners 2nd Runner-up in Bonok-Bonok Festival

SDSSU-Cantilan represents LGU-Cantilan at Surigao City on its Bonok-Bonok Festival. One of their highlights of Surigao City annual fiesta celebration every September 9-10. The school after representing Sirong Festival proceeded to Surigao City for the same purpose on September 7, 2017 to join the Bonok-Bonok Festival on September 9, 2017.
This years theme for its festival was “Surigao: Sadjawpara sa Kalinaw” gives inspiration to the performers to do their very best. In the morning of September 9,2017 one was the street dancing activity where participants rhythmically moved to the beat of the sounds of drums, buggles, and other instruments synchronized into music. SDSSU-Cantilan students together with other participants chant “Viva Senor San Nicolas De Tolentino” Viva, Viva, Viva.
There were two categories for a competition to choose,first was the Bonok-Bonok Base and the second was the Free Interpretation SDSSU-Cantilan competes in the Free Interpretation Category.
The Grand Showdown Competition starts at exactly 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon and it ends at exactly 8:00 o’clock in the evening where SDSSU-Cantilan won as 2nd runner up in the rank. Whether it failed to win, the most important thing is that SDSSU’ans proved that they can be competitive and they are proud to show and share their talents. KUDOS SDSSUans! KUDOS!
