Last July 24 – 26, 2018, SDSSU, which is one of the members of the Visayas – Mindanao Consortium for Journal Publication (VMCJP), was co – hosting the 1^st International Conference on Methodological Advances in Research (ICMAR) held in the University of San Jose Recoletus (USJR), Cebu City. Some SDSSU participants served as judges, moderators, and secretariat during the parallel sessions. Besides, the conference was participated by all the members of the VMCJP and non – members of the association from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

Sixteen (16) researchers from our university were sent to present their research outputs in different categories. Among the research presenters, two of which got the BEST PRESENTER AWARDS in their respective category – they were Odinah Cuartero – Enteria and Maria Lady Sol A. Suazo.
