AACCUP Accredits BSIT & BSHRM Programs

Focal Persons and IAB Members took pose together with the AACCUP Accreditors
The Surigao del Sur State University-Cagwait Campus through the leadership of its campus director, Dr. Noelito B. Salcedo and the support and cooperation of its faculty, staff and students once again accepted the challenges for accreditation process conducted by Accrediting Agencies for Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) on September 4-7, 2017. Dr. Marcelina O. Bahalla (USM) was the Over-all Coordinator, Engr. Eulogio D. Apellido, Jr. (SKSC) as BSIT Coordinator, Dr. Julieta S. Abarquez (DNSC) as BSHRM Coordinator, Dr. Charima M. Mentoc (CFCST), Prof. Evelyn J. Lumaday (DNSC), Prof. Ariel T. Ortiz (MSU-GenSan), Dr. Teresita B. Bayaron (DNSC) and Dr. Winda B. Cejas (USEP) as Members. Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology-(BSIT) which has the following majors; Automotive Technology, Computer Technology and Electrical Technology was evaluated for AACCUP Accreditation Level II and its Bachelor of Science in Hotel & Restaurant Management (BSHRM) was also for Level I. After the evaluation and assessment of documents conducted, feed backing and mentoring were done during the exit conference held at the Accreditation Room. From the important and fruitful points and suggestions imparted, Dr. Noelito B. Salcedo thanked all the accreditation and mentoring team for exerting efforts and relevant information and guidelines in improving the campus curricular programs.
