The Gender and Development Unit, together with the Human Resource Management Office of NEMSU Main Campus launched the campus celebration of National Women's Month, on March 4, 2024 at Prospero B. Pichay Sr. Gymnasium. Grounded on the objective of transforming culture toward a more equal and inclusive future, the 2024 NWMC bears the sub-theme, “Lipunang Patas sa Bagong Pilipinas; Kakayahan ng Kababaihan, patutunayan!”

Present in the celebration were the University Key Officials led by NEMSU President Nemesio G. Loayon, faculty, staff, and students.

Dr. Loayon, highlighted in his speech that the NWMC pays tribute to the remarkable contributions of women throughout history, acknowledging their strength, resilience, and unwavering dedication to progress.

National Women's Month is not just a time to reflect; it's a call to action—a reminder that our work towards gender equality is far from over.
