The North Eastern Mindanao State University attends the virtual Technical Budget Hearing for FY 2024 Budget Proposals with Department of Budget Management (DBM). In attendance are NEMSU President, Dr. Nemesio G. Loayon and key officials, DBM Regional Director Maria Fe D. Jagna, DBM-RO Personnel, Mr. Elvin Chato, and Ms. Rhona Mae U. Gabia. The partnership between NEMSU and DBM Region XIII entail formal consultation, queries, and technical assistance provided by the department’s Budget and Management Specialists assigned to the University.

The preparation of the University’s budget is a critical process that involves evaluating the proposed PPAs. With the presence of the DBM specialists, the activity ensures that the university’s proposed PPAs will be prioritized based on their importance, alignment with the university’s goals and objectives, as to completeness to render the proposals implementation ready.
