Mounting international perspective and gender sensitivity, the Office of Curriculum Development, in partnership with the Lakbay Diyalogo Training Team, convened its academic connoisseurs from several departments from the curriculum, internationalization, human resource management office, and academic units to achieve a progressive perspective weaved into the university’s curriculum.

Recognizing that NEMSU is a multicultural university, this two-day activity aimed to adopt inclusive and gender-responsiveness for a safer environment for all genders, through gender mainstreaming and integration. This thorough effort is meant to bring out the right perspectives among leaders with increased understanding and adaptability of the principles regarding the streamlining of gender empowerment and gender justice in the university and society at large.

The learning space hopes to provide learning of the Gender and Development Agenda, Mandate, and Strategic Framework, deliver a discussion and circles in dialogues using the international perspective in pushing forward the gender integration and continuum at the university level, and outline an integrative direction in developing a gender-inclusive curriculum.
