𝗡𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗨-𝗟𝗖 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘀 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁
The North Eastern Mindanao State University-Lianga Campus opened its doors for the academic year 2023-2024 with the new edition of "Jumpstart" to welcome the new and old students and new faculty and staff, initiated by the Office of Student Welfare and Development (OSWD) and University Student Government (USG), at the NEMSU-Lianga Quadrangle on August 16, 2023.

In line with this event, a short program was administered in order to give students further instructions and information with regard to the release of certificates of records (COR) and the schedule of classes.

The activity also highlighted the introduction of the faculty, administrative staff, and USG officers to give new students a chance to meet their instructors and leaders of the institution.

The campus director, Dr. Cynthia P. Sajot, extended her welcome message to both new and old students. In her statement, she emphasized that she was delighted to know that the population of the university was increasing.

Also in attendance is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), Dr. Romeo Patan, who carried out a message to the students of NEMSU.

Moreover, the students are advised to get their CORs in the designated areas of the different colleges.

After the program, the unity dance followed, and the students visited various organization booths, including the sports club and the student publication. Report by Noe M. Quezada
