SDSSU celebrated 7^th University Day on February 22, 2017 with the theme: Enhancing Quality and Internationalizing Higher Education. The feast launched ground parade and the celebration of the Holy Mass. The opening program surprised the spectators as five (5) teams exhibited their vigorous yells and chants. The University President, Dr Baceledes R. Estal, delivered his University Address by reporting the achievements of SDSSU during his term in the field of Research, Extension, Instruction, and Production. Dr Estal emphasized his call for excellence not only in the field of education but above all for service and compassion. Later in the afternoon the friendly games excited the celebration as the teams competed in different games including volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, and chess among others. The program concluded with a fellowship dinner with the key officials of the University. The awarding of the overall champion also followed with Team Estrada emerging to be victorious. It was a Happy Charter Day for all.
