In a significant event held on January 29, 2024, the campus directors of various North Eastern Mindanao State University (NEMSU) campuses gathered in the new boardroom to share their accomplishment reports and lay out their Annual Implementation Plan 2024.
The boardroom was graced by the presence of three Vice Presidents, namely Dr. Ma. Lady Sol A. Suazo, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Catherine F. Salomon, Vice President for Administration and Finance; and Dr. Rolly G. Salvaleon, VPREIRGAS. The esteemed Campus Directors attending the meeting on-site included Dr. Abundio C. Miralles of NEMSU Tandag, Dr. Juancho A. Intano of NEMSU Cantilan, Dr. Ariston O. Ronquillo of NEMSU Tagbina, and Dr. Noelito B. Salcedo of NEMSU Cagwait, while Dr. Celmencia L. Sumagaysay of NEMSU San Miguel attended the meeting via Zoom.
Offering a comprehensive overview of the progress made across NEMSU's diverse campuses, each campus director presented their accomplishment reports. These reports delved into various facets, covering academic achievements, administrative milestones, and contributions to research and extension. Key highlights included improvements in student outcomes, innovative administrative processes, and notable research and extension initiatives.
Following the presentation, Dr. Suazo also engaged each campus director in a question-and-answer portion about the challenges they faced in their roles during these trying times. Each campus director, with eloquence and grace, shared insights into their qualifications, leadership styles, and the strategies they employed to persevere in their positions.
